New Clients Only: Referrals must be for new clients to MTG or its subsidiaries.
New Business Only: Applies only to new business placed, not upgrades or renewals.
Group Renewals and Cont Ops: No commission is paid on Group scheme renewals or Continuation Options for non-advisers, in recognition of the ongoing relationship management carried out by the referring adviser.
Tax: Referral payments to employees are subject to PAYE deductions. All other staff are responsible for managing the tax implications of these payments.
Effective Date: Applies to all referrals made on or after 1st July 2025.
Successful Referral Required: Referral payments are only made if the business is successfully placed.
Definition of Staff: For the purposes of this matrix, a staff member is defined as anyone who has a login to the MTG intranet.
Insurance Referrals: Insurance advisers are responsible for notifying Accounts (bernadette@mauricetrapp.com) if a referral payment applies to upcoming commission.
Mortgage Referrals: Mortgage advisers are responsible for paying referral commission directly to the referring staff member.

Intranet Submission Required

All referrals must be submitted using the referral system on the intranet.

Unsubmitted referrals will not be eligible for payment.
